Due to ongoing economic pressures and tariff uncertainties affecting international trade, Modal Electronics and its U.S. distributor, American Music & Sound (AM&S), have made the difficult decision to discontinue the sale and distribution of Modal products in the United States, effective April 1, 2026.

Despite strong interest from a loyal community of users, increased import costs, unpredictable tariffs, and exchange rate fluctuations have made it unsustainable to continue offering Modal products in this market under fair and stable conditions.

Modal remains fully committed to supporting existing customers. Owners of Modal instruments in the U.S. will continue to have full access to parts, repairs, and technical support directly through Modal’s global service network.
